Дорогие братья и сестры,

Действительно мы переживаем неописуемые времена. Для многих это испытание весьма тяжело перенести, но с нами Бог.  Мы слышали наставления Патриарха и нашего митрополита.  Оба призывают нас не терять веру и надежду. Я грешный присоединяюсь к нашим владыкам.

Пока еще есть время поститься – поститесь!  Пока есть время молиться – молитесь! И очень важно в эти дни, пока есть время покается – кайтесь! Те, кто были ленивы ходить в церковь, вам надо перестроить свои жизни и когда это поветрие спадет – начните ходить регулярно. 

Пока власти строго советуют оставаться дома, возьмите возможность и на теряйте время, а лучше познайте свою веру.  Учитесь читать по церковно-славянский.  Учите молитвы! Не тратьте время!

Так как мы еще находимся во время Великого Поста, церковь читает молитву Св. Ефрема Сирина. Вникайте в каждое слово, а особенно «и даждь ми зрети моя прегрешения и не осуждати брата моего».

Хочу уверить каждого из вас, что я молюсь за каждого каждый день.  Матушка Нина и я продолжаем все службы по расписанию дома. Скоро мы возобновим служить в храме.  Нам весьма тяжело не впускать вас в храм на службу, но мы должны придерживаться к приказам властей.  Все главные службы и праздники будут совершены в храме.  Мне очень тяжело не видеть вас и не слышать детские голоса в храме.

Призываю всех усердно молиться и каяться, чтоб Господь простил нас и обратно собрал в храме.

Dear brothers & sisters,

Indeed, we are living through unimaginable times. For many, this is difficult to endure, however God is with us! We have heard how the Patriarch and our metropolitan have said encouraging words of keeping our faith and not loosing hope. I, a sinner, concer with them.

Whilst there is time to lent – fast! Whilst there is time to pray – pray! And most importantly, whilst there is time to repent – repent! Those of you who were lazy to come to church, take this time to reevaluate your lives and change, so when we will be able to go back to church you can attend accordingly.

Since the authorities insist that we stay home, take advantage of this time and learn about the faith. Understand why you call yourself an Orthodox Christian. Learn how to pray. Don’t waste precious time!

Since we are still in the Great Lent the Church is reading the St. Ephrem of Syria prayer. Go into depth of each and every word, especially “and grant unto me to see my faults, and not judge my brother”.

I would like to reassure everyone that I am praying for everyone every day. Matushka Nina and I are conducting all the services at home.  We will reestablish services in the church.  It is very difficult for us, that we cannot allow you to partake of these services, however we must be obedient to the authorities.  All the main services will be conducted in the church.  For me it is heart wrenching that I cannot see you in church and hear the voices of the children.

I call upon everyone to fervently pray and repent, so that our Lord God will forgive our sins and gather us in church once again.
